Set in 1930s Germany, “A Bright Room Called Day” by playwright Tony Kushner centers around a group of friends caught up in the events of the fall of the Weimar Republic and Adolph Hitler’s rise to power. The play is showing Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 3-6. Photography by James Shultz.
