Trinity University hosted the annual Trinity Invitational last weekend, where the Tigers put on quite the show. Several athletes leapt, threw and ran their ways to their best performances of the year while breaking multiple school records. The men’s and women’s track and field teams hosted the Trinity Open on Feb. 24 to kick off their outdoor season. A 28 by 48 foot video scoreboard rose out of Trinity University Stadium last week, replacing the smaller digital board. The new scoreboard, funded privately by the football team’s booster club, will be capable of displaying stats and in-game replays. Track-and-field athlete Abby Romig, a sophomore biochemistry major, just transferred to Trinity from Reed College this winter.
